The xenomorph looks incredible and stays true to the movie Alien. This game definitely gives that helpless feel and focuses on hiding and surviving, but also give you a bit of control with bombs that you can craft or the much loved flame thrower!
It's definitely a tense and enjoyable game if you give it a chance.
Would definitely recommend to friends, 10/10!
- Play as Ellen Ripley, I mean Amanda ✓
- Explore the Nostromo, I mean Sevastopol Station ✓
- Run, hide, scream, die, repeat ✓
Game is scary, and pays great respect to the original film.
NOT THIS TIME.
playing this with headphones on is like sneaking out of your girlfriends bedroom at 2AM trying to urinate in the direct pool of toilet water, the bathroom is next to the parents bedroom. 10/10
no, that's literally what this game feels like it's supposed to be. "alien simulator" complete with being stalked across sevastopol station by one of the SINGLE most terrifying aliens in gaming.
this right here, this'll make you ♥♥♥♥ yourself in terror.
One of the most scary games I have played (on par with Outlast although on a different style). You always have that feeling that you are not safe anywhere, always checking your back and hearing wierd noises from everywhere.
Long game also, will get you lots of hours of fun, just have a few spare pants available and you are ready to go.
-Amazing Audio (Headset Recommended)
-Tons Of Suspense
-Great Homage To The Alien Films
-Controller Support For Those Interested
-Unique Gameplay With The Normal Survival Horror Elements
-DLC Content Adds Fun New Game Modes To Easily Extend Replayability
-Pretty Long Main Story Line
-If You Do Not Like Stealth - This May Be A Game To Avoid
It's nostalgia at its absolute greatest.
That said, even if you haven't seen the original movie or don't like it for some odd reason, this is a quality, well-built, suspenseful horror game. The mechanics are nice and clever, the gameplay is satisfying, and the visuals and 70's lo-fi feel are absolutely superb
