If you haven't played this game yet then where the ♥♥♥♥ have you been? it's a must buy. The storyline is well thought out and ♥♥♥♥ing hilarious, quality quotes coming in almost every cutscene. Excellent weapons with huge variety, awesome boss fights, character levelling, side quests, you name it this game has it and more. A friend recommended it to me and now I'm recommending it to everyone, don't be deterred buy the age of the game, honestly it's timeless and replay ability is endless. One of the best games in the last decade.

"You see, this is what I don't get about all you bad guys. You know the Hero is gonna win but you just don't die quickly. Example: This one guy in Newhaven, right? City's burning, people are dying left and right. Yadda. Yadda. Yadda. This Jackhole rushes me with a spoon. A FRICKING SPOON! And I'm like dying laughing, right? So i scoop out his stupid little eyeballs with it. And his kids are all: WAAAH! And-AHAHA!! I CAN'T EVEN...AHAHA!! HE CAN'T SEE WHERE HE IS GOING. HE IS BUMPING INTO STUFF AND... I dunno. Maybe you had to be there. The moral is you're a total b!tch" - Handsome Jack

"Careful though, Earl's crazy.. He ate one of my cars once. Yeah. The whole car. With like... a fork" - Scooter
"Slab, did you.. did you just jump from the Stratosphere? God DAMN you make me proud!" - Brick
"My Sirens name is Brick and She is the prettiest" - Brick Tiny Tina DLC
"Who needs a medical license when you got style?" -Dr. Zed

Probably one of the best games I've ever played. Taking place 5 years after the events of the original Borderlands, 46 new Vault Hunters are looking for another "Vault" on the planet Pandora.

    • Countless guns (far more and better guns than the first game, chances of coming across 2 of the same exact gun is little to none)
    • Skill trees are far more fun and diverse than the original
    • Memorable main and side characters
    • Graphics are one of a kind
    • Top-notch humor and one-liners
    • You get to see what the 4 original Vault Hunters did after the events of the first game
    • Revamped several original legendaries and a lot of new ones

    • Hundreds of meme/pop-culture references

    • You have to replace guns more often than the first
    • Guns aren't as unique as the original game (No more carnage shotguns as uncommon drops, for example, however, it returns as a legendary

Not getting the GOTY version of this game is one of the biggest mistakes you'll ever make (GOTY is $40 [$10 on sale], Borderlands 2 + Season Pass = $50)

Definitely give this two thumbs up over Borderlands 1. Better co-op and loot all the way around. And the badass tokens. What more is there to say?

    Cod: Black ops 3: $80.00
    -generic shooter
-worst game community next to fnaf and undertale
    -expensive dlc
-you need a room sized super cpu or some sh*t to run it

    Borderlands 2 4 Pack: $66.49
-4 good games for the price of one crappy game
    -not a generic shooter
    -can run on a toaster
    -actual humour
    -has more than 3 colours
    -good campaign
    -good story
    -good community
-you and your friends can play it
-affordable dlc, for example: Cod zombie map: $10.00, just a map, nothing much else. Borderlands 2 expansion: $10.00, new customizations, enemies, weapons, among alot of other things

In conclusion, if you want a bland, boring shooter, buy Cod, if you want a Colourful, enjoyable shooter, buy Borderlands 2

    About Borderlands 2 (GOTY)

Borderlands 2 - A new era of shoot and loot is about to begin. Play as one of four new vault hunters facing off against a massive new world of creatures, psychos and the evil mastermind, Handsome Jack. Make new friends, arm them with a bazillion weapons and fight alongside them in 4 player co-op on a relentless quest for revenge and redemption across the undiscovered and unpredictable living planet.Key Features: All-New Characters and All-New Classes: Four all new playable classes including the Siren, the Commando, the Gunzerker and the Assassin. Step into the role of the Gunzerker, whose highly deadly skills allow him to dual-wield any two weapons found in the game.

Not only that, you will build on that skill to do more things with two guns than you ever imagined possible. Dual machine guns? Cool. Dual rocket launchers? Of course! Dual Sniper Rifles? Sure, if that’s your thing! Want to try other styles? More tactical perhaps? There are multiple classes to choose from! Dynamic Co-op online, and LAN: Share your adventures with friends both online and via LAN. Borderlands 2 features a seamless system enabling you to drop in and drop out of a campaign without ever having to restart the game. On top of that you can even take your new gear from any game to any other! World Connected Story: Find yourself left for dead in the frozen tundra of Pandora as you begin your quest of revenge and redemption.

Expose the evil surrounding the Hyperion Corporation and take on the perpetrator of a universe-wide grand deception -- the nefarious Hyperion CEO, Handsome Jack. (Oh, also: he's stolen credit for the opening of the Vault.) 87 Bazillion...

Everything: In addition to the new gun system, you will lust after procedurally generated shields, grenades, Relics, class mods and much, much more. And you thought the original Borderlands had a ton of loot! Brand new environments on Pandora: Hunt through entirely brand new areas of Pandora that are more alive than ever! From the arctic tundra, through the dangerous grasslands, past the mysterious corrosive caverns to beyond, you’ll be surprised by the unpredictable world of Pandora at every turn! Brand new enemies: A whole slew of new enemies are out there to kill you in Borderlands 2. Hulking, gorilla-like Bullymongs, vicious predatory Stalkers and the Hyperion mechanical army, run by Handsome Jack, are just some of the new enemies in Borderlands 2.
