This game is basically Grand Theft Shadow of Arkham, which isn't a bad thing, it's just that there isn't anything new or groundbreaking here. If post-apocalyptic open world is your thing, you'll probably enjoy this. Everyone else would probably do well to wait for a price drop. I was able to catch this on sale for $20 with the DLC included, had I payed full price for everything I probably would have been a bit disappointed.

I have played around 36 hours yet and will play more as they are many things left to do.

The game have awesome villians and we have to dominate all with Mad Max.

Map is so big. have fun time while playing Mad Max, many things to do i.e. Escavenging, Car Shooting, Adding cars to collection, discount new locations & new routes, lower the threats, complete side missions, Complete death races etc etc..............

The Combat / Fighting systems in this game are cool. While on Foot, have to defeat enemies using different skills, specially when futy mode ON thennnnnnnnnn Max Just like a killing machine, love it.

While on car combat, its awesome. You can ram the cars, Convoy truck, shooting, fire Thunder Harpoon. ohhhh man, I lke it.

Character customization is awesome, Max is now fully upgraded and now a killing machine.
Car Customization is also cool though still to unlock best V6 & V8 Engines and some armory updates but still ramming other cars is good.

The graphics, sceneries, story are all good. Let me say that first time, I got a game which I truly liked and wanna play it until finish all activities and challenges.

Must want Mad Max 2 with more fun and thrill.

The best mediocre game I have ever played. Beautiful (but slightly low on interaction) world, car handling is really nice, and punching painted seminaked dudes in the face is beautifully staged. Oh, and don't even start with the fire. This game has the nicest, oiliest, smokiest, burniest explosions and fire effects in a car game yet and makes setting things on fire so much fun.
So why mediocre? There is absolutely nothing you haven't seen or played before - the car combat, the brawls, the upgrading of strongholds, the slow grind to rid an area of weird negative influence by performing repetitive tasks... all of it executed perfectly well, but there is no area where the game actually tries to do something innovative.

Still, 9/10 burning tires, would set on fire again.

The ONLY bad thing with this game was that it was released the same day as Metal Gear Solid V which ruined their sales.

It's a fantastic, action pumped bloodbath, set in the open world of Max Rockatansky aka. Mad Max and it's just amazing! Gameplay is similar to other 3rd person games like Tomb Raider. It has RPG elements where you upgrade your armor and weapons and also unlock parts of the game world to gain bonuses. Get that V8 Interceptor!

Graphics are stunning!!! Music is good, sound is also fantastic. This game is worth your money, especially if you like to hunt for achievements because it will give you good 80+ hours. I didn't finish all the achievements yet because I don't care, but I still got almost 90 hours for my money which is well worth. Highly recommended!

Well, I am a huge fan of the original Mad Max trilogy, and an even bigger fan of Thunder Road; however, I have had zero desire to play this game. Call it poor marketing and grumbling from negative reviews. I grabbed this game for $9.00 off of the September WB Steam sale, and even after DL'ing it, I had pretty much zero desire to actually play ....

Then I turned it on and HOLY SH!T!!! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE!?

#1 The intro -- The game makes it very clear ... YOU ARE MAD MAX!! Go do crazy!

#2 The Graphics on PC -- I'm running a GeForce 780 GTX and have all settings on Max, funning 60 FPS no problem and it is by far, the most beautiful game I have ever played to date.

#3 Story, Voice Acting, Production Etc. -- Top Notch and in perfect harmony with what a Mad MaX game should be.

One Con -- and it's a minor one -- Playing with keyboard and mouse is a little annoying. Not game breaking, but it's a little wonky, in terms of sensitivity. A controller is optimal, but again, not a deal breaker by any means.

If you like Mad Max, and have been on a fence about this one ... do yourself the favor and buy this one. You'll thank me later.

It's on sale for the price of an expensive ale at a festival.

It's got amazing graphics, is extremely well optimized, and the mechanics are solid.

There may not be a wide variety of enemies to murder, but the vehicle combat more than makes up for it. There's something exhilarating about slamming into the side of a convoy at 90mph and unleashing hell, especially as it feels impactful.

Seriously. Buy it. It's on friggin' sale and I don't regret buying it on release for full price.

I loved this game being a fan of the film series made it an easy decision to purchase. I had a blast trying all the cars, getting all the upgrades for max and the magnum opus and exploring the whole map. I don’t think I left one piece of scrap on the map. Both fighting and driving mechanics were great and smooth. I loved exploring the wasteland and finding epic jumps and having demolition derby against Scotus's goons. The characters were great. The story was really good, but the ending wasn't what I expected at all.

I’m ready for the next one. 96/100 Praise be.. The Angel of Combustion!

Mad Max is a very repetitive game. You go to an area, clear it out, and drive to the next area while upgrading your vehicle and grabbing debris from the sand. Blah blah blah...Look kids every game is repetitive, but is it fun? Heck yea! What makes it fun isnt the story or how REVELUTIONARY it is. Its not either one of those, but i thought i should address that since some people wont want to touch it if it isnt changing how we see its genre. Its fun because you have cars and blow stuff up like the movies. Its just a fun and simple game to sit back, relax and enjoy yourself.

After finishing the whole game + all side missions I can safely say this is a great game.
But is it worth 40 Euros? No.
It's WAY too short for that amount of money.

    Get it on a sale.

This game is a bit repetitive, but it's a blast for driving around and feeling like the Road Warrior of the movies.

And this game is beautiful to run, with my GTX 970 I never drop below 60fps with everything maxed out at 1440p. Absolutely gorgeaous and fun.

I am someone who really dislikes racing in videogames, so I wasn't sure if I should get Mad Max.
I'm happy to say that I did get it, and it blew my expectations out of the water.
The controls are really smooth, the game is beautiful and it runs flawlesly.
Car combat is extremely fun and exciting, and the explosions look really nice making you want to blow up everything.
The ground combat in my opinion was fun aswell, it has a batman arkham sort of combat system.
This game has allot of things to collect and discover, if you dont enjoy collecting lots of things and upgrading your car/character allot, then watch out this game has allot of that.

What a surprise! The best action post-apo game since "Rage".The game is great on so many levels. First of all it works great (nice optimalization) ! 60 FPS as a starting point gives smoothness especially needed in car chases (btw car mechanics are cool). Incredible vistas! They are rather minimalistic in details but this is a good thing. The feeling of isolation is palpable here. Also the different color moods are fantastic! Another good thing is hand to hand combat. It's got batman's formula and It's enjoyable. The story is ok with many cool looking characters but don't expect to much. The downside is too busy map. The core of the game is grinding for scrap but with two good mechanics like driving/combat you don't mind doing so. Overall I give it 9/10 score-(if you don't like post-apo then 8/10) great fluid car-combat gameplay with beautiful scenery!

I really do recommend this game to anyone who wants to have a great time! Great storyline, amazing graphics, i really like the gameplay itself, it's a mixture of Batman with Far Cry and also Rage.

The best part is there is no Season Pass or super exepensive DLC'S!! 10/10!!!
