I really loved the game`s soundtrack especially the katz korner theme that is so cute and I feel relaxed listening to it. The battle system is kinda hard at first but you`ll get used to it after you have progressed to the story. For the story, its absolutely great. The main reason why I bought this game is because I was amazed of its graphics at first glance. I fell in love with the game and even bought dlc costumes.

Tales of Zestiria is a fantasy RPG, open world anime game that provides you with unique battle mechanics and an enjoyable story plot. The characters are loveable and have their own unique characteristics that makes them stand out. Despite this is my first ever "Tales of..." game from the series, I pretty much got addicted to the game after purchasing it just over a month ago in early October.
One downside of this game is the hideous equipment fusing system which even after 80 hours of gameplay, I still don't understand how to fuse the most optimal equipment for the characters. Regardless, I still highly recommend this game to gamers who enjoy fantasy, open world games and to anime fans in general.

I really enjoyed playing Tales of Zestira. The story was interesting especially the skits that happens within the game. Although the battle system is hard especially with the grades, the final boss was totally worth it! I was struggling with the boss but the ending was worth that struggling and I had so much fun playing the game. I recommend giving the game a try for those JRPG fans out there

-> Recommended ( first "Tales of" title I've played )

    + smooth combat
    + no loading times
    + great characters
    + interesting equipment system
    + interesting story
+ good Tutorials ( even though a lot to read )

    - a lot of plot holes
    - decision have no impact on story
    - chaos felt too easy, especially with NG+
    - main-/sideboss balancing is garbage
    - 30FPS cap (without community patch)
    - Audio crashes with high frequencies ( without community patch)

    * community patch makes it a lot more enjoyable

--> Overall a nice 180h experience for completing all Achievements. I wish the difficulty would be higher and hope Berseria will be a bit more of a Challenge. The title definitely hooked me up to the series but I probably won't play any older titles of the series.

Absolutely an excellent piece of gaming history! Great combat system, great gameplay, deep story and characters, one negative is that some of the dungeons are too cramped.

    An absolute masterpiece. Would recommend.

    P.S. The soundtrack is great.

I've played a number of tales games. Vesperia, abyss, graces, xillia 1 & 2, and some of symphonia so I think I have a feel for the tales games. Zestiria is not a bad game but its not the best, people getting into the seires will liekly find it fun and a bit fresh. Long time fans will probably find it decent or mediocre at best and that's normal. Overall It's a good game in my opinion. The story is rather interesting and the gameplay is fun, and they incorperate a lot of good rpg elements like puzzles and whatnot pretty well. Zestiria also has a vast open world with a lot to do. Tales of zestiria is an interesting adventure, either you like it or you don't. But I'd reccomend giving this game a try when its on sale because I, at least, felt it was worth my time and money.

Great Tales series game i ever played, can't wait for Tales of Berseria

    Pros
    + Long Story
    + Love and Friendship
    + More Grinding
    + Battle System
    + Unique Artes

    Cons
    - 30 fps lock (you can manually patch to increase 60 fps)
    - The female protagonist i prefer Milla Maxwell from ToX than this series

    TL;DR
I hope BanNam make another port for old Tales series games (ex: Abyss, Vesperia, Graces, Xillia)

As a huge RPG- and JRPGfan, i only give this game a very small thumbs up.

    Good.

    - Controls
    - Graphic
    - Cutscenes
    - Soundtrack
    - Secrets
    - Crafting
    - Level System

Now, here comes the sad part.
I only enjoyed the first half of the game, after that the game drops the whole quality.

    Good than bad.

    - Story: First its cool and you are pumped. Later you will skip most of it.
    - The World: Beautiful and alive. Later everything feels unfinished, dead or rushed.
    - The Group: The Characters you play have some cool moments, but later they are annoying.
    - Combat: You learn cool moves and spells, but most of them are useless and you spam 1-2 combos.

    Bad.

    - You have to learn Worldspells to discover everything but you learn them way to late.
    - The game have some moments and scenes and they should be epic, but even maincharacter deaths are boring.
    - The whole endgame. Run to town A for a boring 5 minute scene than run to Town B and repeat.

I really, really liked this game the first ~10h, after that you only want to make it end.
My playtime is so big because on weekends i fell asleep while playing it.

This is my 1st "Tales of" game because I rarely played RPG games back in the Console era.

Tales of Zestiria is really an interesting journey to begin with It's rich both in gameplay and story.
I felt that the gameplay mechanics is somehow unique to itself.
This game is really taking a really long time to finish and you can prolonged it if you want to complete everything.
The New Game+ feature also only prolonged the game as there is nothing more to get from it.

I don't know how to make a spoiler free review for this game.
So I'll just end this here.
Recommended for those who like JRPG or all RPG games.
