What a great game to play. Mind you, this one seems a bit shorter than the last one. But I bought this on Winter Sale 2016 so not too much to complain. Actually, I can't find anything to complain about.

Just like the last game, the New Order, this is almost the same rundown. Same kind of gameplay and what not. Not much difference with the last game. It's more like an extended version maybe? OH YA, there are zombies in it! And some of the scenery was a bit creepy to play in. I guess the developers took a look at Zombie Army Trilogy series.

Action pretty much within the first 5 minutes of the game. So again, no long tedious intro. But you don't start with all the cool weapons, right off the bat, but you get them early in the game as well.

I would have loved to seen a pistol only achievement in this game, or at least a handful of areas where you can collect stealth achievements on. I really liked the silenced pistol. Powerful and can almost snipe with it if you are good enough.

So there you have it people. I would love to see the next installment, and hopefully add some different variances to the game. After all, if they made the same thing again, it would only become redundant.

    Wolfenstein!
Old blood certainly has some old blood in the form of brutal campaign, graphics and story.
    Pretty interesting story and gameplay.
    The only problem is ...

The campaign is too damn short. I completed this on normal difficulty in 5 hours!
Need to get Wolfenstein new order asap.

Overall a solid 8.5/10 from my side. It is a steal in a steam sale.

Then I get to kill Zombie's

Then I get to kill Nazi's that then turn into zombies that I get to kill!

    Whats not to like?

If you like Wolfenstein: New Order, you'll like this. The combat is pretty much the same in most respects. However, this one includes significant improvements to the stealth mechanics. Anyone's who's played New Order knows what a joke stealth was in that game. Anyhow, stealth still isn't perfect in this game...but the huge improvements easily make stealth good enough to be fun (and useful). And Old Blood has got a good story to boot.

Started off rough and ended up becoming far better than The New Order. The new weapons are cool and satisfying to use, especially the bolt action rifle. One of my problems with TNO was too much story/cutscene stuff not enough Nazi Slaughter, and The Old Blood fixes that with few breaks in flow for story and much bigger waves of enemies, which was a very welcome addition as I felt TNO was lacking in how many enemies it threw at you until much later in the game, and even then it was fairly tame. I also feel like Blazko had more personality in this.

Don't buy it if you don't want to stab dogs with broken pipes, though.

Sometimes you gotta go sneaky peaky. Sometimes you gotta face them with that machine gun. Either way, this game is really fun and I liked the story a lot. The atmosphere, art style is fascinating.
I also loved all those little posters of the original Wolfenstein and the mini game where you actually play the old Wolfenstein.
The only thing I found disappointing was the ending. It wasn't bad actually, but it just didn't live up to my expectations. Still, I can only recommend this.

If you liked The New Order, then you will enjoy this game just as much. Nothing revolutionary from the previous game; simple storyline, satisfying gory combat, it leaves you in a good mood after playing it. And the Nazi zombies at the end were a nice touch.

For the fact this game was supposed to be a dlc and the developers said screw making a dlc interface, this turned out to be better off as a game. Due to it was just so massive it's extra download times would of killed someone's internet.

Anyone who loves Wolfenstein should get this game, get it before New Order. To understand what's going on. It's a great game. 80% meat head. 10% stealth and 10% tactical.

New order was 60% meat head. 30% stealth 10% tactical.

Old Blood gives you that room full of guys and the next room is full of even more guys mentality.

for 20 bucks full price you get challenge modes, survival stuff and a 7 hour singleplayer story. As said this was supposed to be a DLC and it was a GREAT stand alone.

    Overall a solid 8/10

Wolfenstein Old Blood is a great step for the Wolfenstein series. The Story is the area where the game lacks the most, but other aspects really shine through. The game play is great, I loved the voice acting, and the graphics were spot on. It was a the perfect blend of stealth/loud game play along with unique variety that didn't tire out. The Nightmare levels were nostalgic and a great addition. Definitely looking forward to playing New Order next.

Had a bad day at work?
Came home from school and felt like ♥♥♥♥ without a reason?
Well then just load up this masterpiece and shoot the ♥♥♥♥ out of some nazi scums with machineguns and explosives. If that doesn't brighten your day up then I don't know what would. Gameplay and mechanics are nearly the same as Wolfenstein:The New Order and the storyline is of course connected but you do not need The new order to understand whats happening.

Okay now this question gets asked alot... Should I buy Old Blood or New Order?

Now, the Old Blood is 4-8 hours gameplay (depends how you play) and features the same mechanics as New Order. The story however is a prequel to New Order, the game finishes right where New Order starts so isn't that enough to convince you to buy Old Blood?
Treat Old Blood as if it were released before New Order.

    Now for my review.

The brilliance of Wolfenstein never disappoints. The nostalgia kicks in with this nazi killing machine; Blazkowitz. An adventure that features a touching storyline with the best simple stealth combat that should be essential in every game. I often restarted missions just so I could do the stealth...

You definitely get your money worth for this one, along with any Wolfenstein game.

    A fan to heart.
